Sales Of Acid
LONDON. Fri.—Scotland Yard has asked makers of acid to tighten their methods of selling- in case the Haigh acid murders provoke a wave of similar crimes, says the Daily Mail. The main manfuacturers have given the police details of the checks they make on customers and an assurance that no new applicants will be supplied with acid without proper- references.
