S. Auckland Rugby League Grounds

HAMILTON, Sat. (Sp.).—The South Auckland Rugby League has purchased 18j acres of Forest Lake within the boundaries of the city of Hamilton, which it intends developing as its football stadium and ground.

The price of £2620, as agreed upon by the vendor Mr G. Furniss and the League, was approved by the Land Valuation committee.

The property is. admirably suited for conversion into a stadium which will accommodate 20,000 and is expected to be ready for the game against the English tourists next sehson. The League intends making the ground available for other sports.
