Record Output Of Fertiliser
AUCKLAND, Sat. (P.A.).—“The results constitute another record for the company, both financially and in manufacturing output,” said the chairman of directors 'Mr S. Irwin Crookes) at the annual meeting yesterday of the Now Zealand Farmers' Fertiliser Co. .Ltd. The net profit amounted to £47,722. The removal of subsidies at the beginning of the year had brought higher prices, but, notwithstanding this, said Mr Crookes, the demand for fertilisers had been well maintained. When the demand was at its peak, deliveries fell behind, but these had now been brought up to date and orders could be met promptly.
