Hongkong Tug To Tow stearner Anchises

HONGKONG, Wed. (11.30 a.m.)— The Chinese Nationalist Government has guaranteed safe-conduct for the Hongkong tug Caroline Moller to proceed to Shanghai and tow the damaged Blue Funnel steamer Anchises to Japan for repairs. The Anchises was damaged in the Whangpoo River as a result of Nationalist air atacks on June 21 and 22.

The safe-conduct guarantee includes an escort of Nationalist naval vessels from a rendezvous off Tinghai, in the Cliusiin Islands, 100 miles south of the mouth of the Yangtse to Woosung, at the entrance of the Whangpoo River.
