Issraeli-Syrian Armistice Signed

LONDON, Wed. 00 a.m.)—The Associated Press Tel Aviv correspondent says the Isracli-Syrian armistice was signed this afternoon, it was ofiicially announced in Tel Aviv.

Main provision of the armistice is that Syrian troops will evacuate about 20 square miles of Israeli territory occupied by them during the Arab-Jew-ish war. but about 15 square miles of this will be demilitarised under the supervision of an armistice commission under the auspices of the United Nations.
