Stipends Of Clergy
AUCKLAND, Thu. (P.A.).— Minimum stipends of £450 to be paid to vicars in parishes and parochial districts are ensured in bills passed by the Auckland Anglican Synod today. Another bill was passed fixing the stipends of assistant clergy. These range from £260 annually, paid during the diaconate period, to £325 during the second year of priesthood.
