Spent 77 Days As Russian Captives

KIEL, Wed. (11.30 a.m.)—Three German fishermen arrived here aboard their fishing cutter today claiming they had spent 77 days in Russian captivity. They said they had been captured by Russians outside the three-mile zone near the East Prussian coast, and were put in prison among prisoners of many nationalities. Their daily rations had been 1 lb of bread, a teaspoon of sugar and two watery soups. , After 77 days they were released without being told why they had been arrested.

The fishermen had been given up for lost by their families.
