Bitter Battle At Honolulu Books
HONOLULU, Wed. (1 p.m.)— Striking Hawaiian watersiders armed with clubs, knives and lead pipes, today fought a brief but bloody battle with the police and non-union stevedores.
Three policemen, 20 non-union men and six pickets were hurt in hand-to-hand fighting. One policeman was sent to hospital with broken arm and serious internal injuries.
