To Contest Seats

Mr A. G. Osborne, M.P. for Onehunga. has again been selected to contest the seat, on behalf of the Labour Party at the general election.

Six other sitting Labour members have been officially endorsed. They are the Minister of Defence, Mr Jones (St. Kilda), and Messrs C. Carr (Timaru), P. G. Connolly (Dunedin Central), J. F. B. Cotterill (Wanganui), W. A. Hudson (Mornington) and R. Walls (North Dunedin). The National rarty candidate for the Riccarton seat will he Mr H. R. Lake, a public accountant, of Christchurch. The seat is held by the Minister of Labour (Mr McLagan).
