PARIS. Tue.. 1 1.50 p.m.i. The French President G\l. Auriob and King Sisavong, of Laos tlndo-China'). signed an agreement here today conferring on Laos the statu? of an independent state within the French Union.
Under thr- terms of tins agreement France recognises the independence of Laos .and Laos pledges its adhesion m tlie French Union.
