Gift Kauri Tree

A kauri tree was planted in the grounds of the Whangarei Bowling Club today. The tree was a gift from Mr W. Boehm. who has made several attempts to establish Kauri trees from bush seedlings without success. This season he obtained a nursery grown, five-year-old tree, which was planted under the supervision, of Mr F. S Holman
