HAMILTON, Fri. (Sp.)— D. P. North (Whangarei) was the centre of interest at the New Zealand trap-shooting tournament at Melville. Hamilton, yesterday. He had won four titles and success in the 28-yard rise championship would have meant that he had scooped the pool. The event attracted 113 entries and was completed today. Ten of the GO competitors in a £SO trophy match shot possibles. C. L. Ball won a prolonged shoot-off with A. Walker second and W. «T. McMiken third.
