Tribute To Late Mr H. S. Ludbrook
KAWAKAWA. Thu. (Sp.).—“He was a man with a very high sense of honour, a man of the type this district can ill afford to lose.”
These remarks were made by the chairman of the Bay of Islands County Council (Cr H. T. Atkinson) when paying a tribute to the late Mr H. S. Ludbrook, of Pakaraka and Paihia. Mr Ludbrook was a member of the council many years ago. Councillors stood in silence as a tribute to his memory.
