LONDON, Wed. (12.50 p.m.) The World Council of Churches, at its Chichester conference today, approved a series of international studies of church life and the social order.
Dr Henry van Dusen, of New York, chairman of the council’s study department, said the studies would deal with the impact of churches on the industrial order. To determine the most effective methods of bringing the Christian Gospel to workers, the department wotild seek the help of member churches to survey the evangelisation of man in modern mass society.
