Protest Against 'The Iron Curtain '
AMSTERDAM, Wed. (11 a.m.).— Chairs were thrown, truncheons used and revolvers drawn in the Amsterdam Municipal Council today when 10 policemen were called in to eject a Communist member during a protest against the film “The Iron Curtain.” Communist members had renewed their demand to ban the film, and added a strong complaint against the “bestial behaviour of the Amsterdam police in dealing with demonstrations at cinemas."
