Launch Leaves To Rescue Scientists
Mr E. Wright’s launch Oleo left Whangarei today to rescue the party of scientists who have been isolated at their encampment on the Hen Island for the past 13 days. The four members of the party, all of whom are experienced bushmen, were to have been picked up last Tuesday, but bad weather caused postponement of the voyage.
