Dargaville milk Supply rationed
DARGAVILLE. Tue., (Sp.).—Milk rationing was introduced in Dai-ga-ville and Te Kopuru during the weekend. The shortage compelling this step might continue until the middle of July. The Dargaville Milk Producers’ Association cannot see any easing of the position until supplementary supplies are obtained.
The shortage is the result of three sheds going out of production lor town supply. Whangarei is not able to supply any of the milk that it usually can provide at this time of tire year. The. vendors in Dargaville are rationing consumers as equally as possible, but are making exceptions where there are babies in households. Licensed producers are assisting by having their morning milk ready much earlier than normally.
