Folse Pretences Charge
WELLINGTON, Fri (P.A.)— Stated by Senior-Sergeant Lines to have been arrested on the Atlantis when it berthed at Wellington yesterday, Ghadebor David Sunde, 21, a cook, was charged in the Magistrate’s Court today with obtaining £7 at Hawera in January, 1948, by false pretences.
On the application of the police, accused was granted a remand until May 24.
