NZRSA Delegate Speaks At Kaitaia

KAITAIA, Fri., (Sp.).—The Northland representative, NZRSA, (Mr K. W. Glasgow, of Wellington) addressed a fairly large'gathering of Mangonui County RSA members at Kaitaia on Wednesday night. Main points covered were the need for national military service in the Dominion as stressed by ex-service organisations and the proposed policy of excluding avowed Communistic members from RSA ranks.

To a question, Mr Glasgow admited obvious difficulties facing the definition of an ‘‘avowed Communist,” but warned members of the serious danger from manifestation of the movement in New Zealand.

He was welcomed by the Mangonui association president (Mr J. W. Dawson). . .

A social gathering was held at the conclusion of the formal business.
