Britain's Most Elisive lunatic Recaptured?

LONDON Thu., (10 a.m.).—Police stated today that they believed they had caught Britain’s most elusive lunatic, John Edward Allen, the “Mad Parson,” who has been at large for two years. Allen, who was found guilty of strangling to death a baby in 1937, escaped from Broadmoor Criminal Lunatic Asylum disquised as a parson on July 20, 1947. He is a talented actor, and a man of many disguises. When he escaped a suitcase containing seven different -theatrical disguises was found to be missing from Broadmoor.
