Orchard Instructor To Eeave Mid - North

KAIKOHE, Thu. (Sp.)—Advice has been received by Mr P. Everett, orchard instructor, Kaikohe, of his transfer to Auckland at an early date. Mr Everett is widely known among fruitgrowers in many parts of New Zealand on account of his specialised and extensive knowledge of citrus and other sub-tropical fruits. For the past 10 years he has been sole officer of the Horticulture Division stationed in Northland

At a recent meeting oi the Keriken Citrus Society the chairman (Mr A. R. Emanuel) thanked Mr Everett for the valuable assistance he bad rendered to the fruitgrowers of the district and for his prompt attention to their many requests for his services. He. was also the recipient of a handsome present from the fruitgrowers of Kerikeri. Mr J. A. Cederman, of Palmerston North, will replace Mr Everett. .as orchard instructor at Kaikohe.
