Hegle.y, now resident at Kaitaia and formerly vice-president of the Whangarci organisation and chairman jf its entertainment committee, outlined the scope of the proposed society. The following interim officers were appointed: Chairman, Mr A. M. Timed; secretary, Mr A. G. Wilson; committee, Dr J. H. Webber. Messrs D. Archibald, s<hu\, L. 11. Hcglc-.y, H. C. Williams. K. Meredith, L. Williams. 11. A. Timbers, J. T. Williams. J. Cowie and E. M. Dlark.
