Regularity Of Air Services

A high standard of - regularity for internal air services is shown in figures for the quarter ended June 30 last, released by the Air Department. In the Auckland-Whangarei-Kai-kohe-Kaitaia run, of 156 trips scheduled, 154 were commenced, and 148 completed.

On the Auckland-Palmerston NorthWellington - Christchurch - Dunedin route, of 627 trips scheduled, 624 were commenced and 597 completed. Similarly, on the Auckland-New Plymouth-Palmerston North- Wellington run the figures werel6l, 159 and 157; on the Auckland-Tauranga-Gis-borne, and Auckland-Tauranga 221, 214 and 213: on the Auckland-Gis-borne, and Auckland-Napier runs, 164, 157 and 157; and on the Auckland-Wellington-Christchurch run, 176, 175 and 175 by one daily service and 156, 154. 154 by the other.
