New Director Of Horticulture
WELLINGTON/ Tue. (P.A.)—After 40 years’ service in the Department of Agriculture, Mr W. K. Dallas retires today from the position of Director of the Horticulture Division, which he has held for 10 years. His successor is Mr A. M. W. Greig, previously executive officer of the division.
Before joining the Department of Agriculture. Mr Greig had eight years' experience in growing citrus and subtropical fruits at Kerikeri. He has occupied thq posts of orchard instructor at Auckland and Tauranga.
He is 42 and was educated at Wellington College and Victoria and Auckland University Colleges. He holds the degree of B.Sc. and the National Diploma of Horticulture (New Zealand).
