Sale Of Wine

The restrictions on the sale of wine are altered. In the original bill private sales could not be made in quantities of more than two gallons, but the committee has removed this from thhe bill. The power of welfare officers under the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act and the- chairman of tribal committees and tribal executives is extended to allow them to apply for a prohibition order against Maoris.
