Traffic In Children
GENEVA, Fri. (10 a.m.)—More than 28,000 Greek children have been evacuated by General Markos’ guerillas to the Commun-ist-dominated countries of Eastern Europe, the League of Red Cross Societies said today. According to their announcement, 2000 children were evacuated from the civil war area to Albania, 2255 to Czechoslovakia, 6660 to Bulgaria, 3000 to Hungary, 3801 to Rumania, and 11,000 to Yugoslavia. In addition, the Greek Government has evacuated 12,325 children from its own side, of the fighting areas to the Greek Aegean Islands. .
