STEERING
WELLINGTON.— An amendment to the Traffic Regulations, 1936, published last night, contins a provision that no person shall operate a motor vehicle unless the steering gear and associated mechanism is in safe and efficient working condition. A further provision is that no vehicle is to be parked, attended or unattended, within a parking zone in respect of which signs are maintained by a controlling authority indicating that parking is prohibited, limited or restricted except in conformity with the terms of the limitation or restriction. « * «
