AUCKLAND. A smoke haze from the recent bush fires on the east coast of Australia hung over Auckland yesterday morning, limitifc visibility io between six and I* miles. The smoke had b&en reported by aircraft coming across the Tasman Sea, said an official of ttye Auckland Wsather Office last night. and reached Auckland on Wednesday afternoon. However, it was thickest yesterday morning, and it gave a definite bluish tinge to a long view.
