WHANGAREI BOROUGH WHANGAREI COUNTY PROPOSED ALTERATION OF BOUNDARIES Local Government Commission, acting under powers conferred upon it by Local Government Commission Act, 1946. has promulgated a provisional scheme providing that areas described in schedules hereto shall be excluded from County of Whangarei and included in Borough of Whangarei, and that from date of absorption of aforesaid areas by Borough of Whangarei the electricity supply to these districts shall be provided by Borough of Whangarei and not by North Auckland Electric Power Board. Objections to this provisional scheme must be lodged within one month of publication of this notice with Secretary, Local Government Commission, Box 30, Govt. Buildings, Wellington. The date for this purpose shall be deemed to be November 29, 1948.

If within time specified no objections are received, Commission will proceed to approve of scheme as a final scheme. Copies of scheme may be viewed at offices of Whangarei Borough Council.
