Clearer thinking, strengthening of the emotions, concentration, voice control and better carriage were sure results of public speaking, said Mr R. E. Johnston at a Whangarei Junior Chamber of Commerce luncheon today. Mr R. M. Salmon was presented with the Roger L. Buckley Memorial Trophy for public sneaking by the donor (Mr G. C. Buckley).
