Wellington R.C. Surplus Of £15,616
WELLINGTON, Tue. (P.A.).—The annual report of the Wellington Racing Club shows a net surplus of £15.616 on the year’s operations, this being after allowing £5113 for depreciation of assets and setting aside £29,500 as provision for taxation. During the season the club distributed £124,987/10/- in stakes, and totalisator investments amounted to £2,231,000, representing a daily turnover of £202,820. Mr E. L. Riddiford intimated that he will not be seeking re-election as president?
