Notable League Visitors
League fans in Whangarei will be well catered for at Jubilee Park on Saturday when the South Auckland champion team, South Huntly, will play a Northland Rugby League representative team. The visiting team includes Allen, who has been halfback for North Island representative teams for five years, and Hambleton, an ex-Kiwi player. The team will be: Pawson, O’Carroll, Brooks, Mclntyre. Clay. Burke, Allen, Hart, Hilton, Smith, Hambleton, Moreland, Morrell and Foster.
