CHANGE

LONDON.—The Paymaster General (Mr H. A. Marquand) has been appointed Minister of Pensions following the resignation of Mr George Buchanan. Viscount Addison will hold the office of Paymaster General with his present office of Lord Privy Seal. Mr Buchanan has been appointed chairman of the National Assistance Board, in succession to Lord' Soulbury, who has resigned.
