ON.— “If some one had taken a little more -care, all these accidqits could have f*een ' avoided,’’ said of Transport (Mr Hackett) yesterday, cvmmenting on the number of fatal road accident^. “During J/Tay, the death toll onj our roads was 14, whijh, while showing a reduction over the same period last year, wes far too high. Four pedestrians were killed when struck down by motor vehicles, four received fatal inj ui ies and three passengers and a driver died as a result of accidents.
