Special Petrol For A. And P. Shows
A remit urging that the Oil Fuel Controller should make petrol available to judges, officials and exhibitors at A. and P. shows is to be sent to the Royal Agricultural Society of New Zealand by the Northern District Council, which met in Whangarei /today.
Difficulties in transport were outlined by delegates at the conference, who stated societies would be unable to h&'d shows if the most important people concerned could not get to them.
