Whangarei Sport Tomorrow
Principal attraction in Whangarei Rugby tomorrow is the meeting of Mid-Western, last year's champions, and Old Boys.
Both teams won their first matches. City and Hikurangi, each twice beaten, meet at Hikurangi.
City and Whangaruru seniors meet in the main Rugby League match at Jubilee Park, and Hikurangi plays Takahiwai at Hikurangi.
Kensington Park will provide the usual animated scene with its hockey players in actioh. AH but one of the opening basketball championship games are being played on the girls’ high school courts. The' other is at the primary school.
Mt. Denby and Whau Valley golfers will be continuing their club competitions.
Whangarei croquet players and bowlers are holding their closing day. City Rugby teams are:
