More Huntly Men Bade At Work

AUCKLAND. Mon. (P.A.). Although all miners had not yet returned tc the collieries at Huntly when work today after the, week-end, attendances had improved considerably, compared with the situation on Thursday, when the mines re-opened following the three weeks’ holiday, with only about a third of the men back at work.

The Renown mine reported a full muster today and the position is almost back to normal at most other mines, although only two-thirds of the men reported for work at the Glen Alton and Macdonald collieries.
