Cost Of Feeding Western Germany
LONDON, Wed. (10 a.m.).—lt cost the people of Britain and America 14/a head to feed the people of Western Germany in 1947, says the British United Press Berlin correspondent. He quotes the Anglo-American Military Government's joint report, saying that it cost the two countries £129,103,125 to send 4,334,352 tons of food, chiefly flour and grain.
