Greatest Wool Boom

BRISBANE, Thu. (11 a.m.)—ln the greatest boom in Australian history, the Queensland wool clip at present prices would be worth more than £22,000,000 according to wool experts. Last year’s state wool cheque, which was also a record, was £16,463,484. Already at four sales in Brisbane this season £11,523,882 has been realised which is greater than the wool cheque for a complete pre-war season. Five more series of sales will be held.
