GISBORNE. Tue. (P.A.) —Douglas Wright, 37. labourer, of Auckland, was arrested at To Kaha and charged with breaking and entering the Royal Oak Hotel. Matawhero, on December 23. and the theft of a safe and £B4O. Accused was remanded to Gisborne.

The arrest followed the recovery of a green-coloured car bearing Auckland registration plates near Oweka Stream, East Coast, last week.
