Brownies Raise £l4/10/ At Concert
Combined efforts of the 3rd Whangarei and Christ Church Brownie Packs were responsible for the sum of £l4/10/- being raised for pack funds following a successful bazaar and concert at the Parochial Hall on Saturday. A programme of group songs and dancing was presented and two plays, “Christmas Fairies” and “The Toys That Came to Life," were well presented. A total clearance of goods ■. on sale was effected. j The vicar, Archdeacon A. E. Prebble, on behalf of parents, thanked j Misses Nancy Balbeth and Margaret | Drew for the splendid work they are ; doing in charge of the packs.

The goods are perfectly i new and the designs and colourings i are ’ the very latest. The firm is i showing some lovely curtain nets and Madras muslins at attractive prices.
