| WELLINGTON, Mon. (P.A.)—The | present 3 per cent. Government loan lon the local market maturing on July 18, 1962-64, is to be closed on December 15. said the acting-Minister of
[ Finance (Mr Nordmeyer) today, i “This loan was opened, on January ’23 last and has been available for j subscription right through the year,” j added the Minister, j "The amount received to date is ■ £ 18,624,000, which has been applied in the terms of the prospectus partly in redemption of loans which matured during the year, but mainly for the i current works programme.”
