PERSONAL.
One of the vice-presidents of the association for the 1946-47 year and an active member of the council for some time. Mr G. C. W. Reid, managing director of Reid (N.Z.) Rubber Mills, Ltd., will be elected president of the Auckland Manufacturers’ Association at its annual meeting tonight. Mr Reid’s nomination was the only one for the vacancy, as the retiring president, Mr S. Howard Hunter, did not offer himself for re-election.
