WELLINGTON.—Reporting to the House of representatives yesterday on the petition of the New Zealand Central Indian Association praying that the age qualification for the entry of Indians to New Zealand be relaxed in respect of Indians who held permits prior to the war but who were prevented by transport difficulties from coming and wei’e now over age, the Public Petitions M to Z Committee recommended the Government to give most favourable consideration in granting permits to a total of not more than 15 in respect of the classes of persons mentioned in the petition.—(P.A.)
