National Savings Quotas Obtained
With only five months of the financial year completed, eight post offices in Northland have obtained their National Savings quotas. The eight offices are Broadwood, Dargaville, Kaikohe, Kaiwaka, Maungaturoto, Paparoa, Russell and Waipu. For the week ending August 30, £6567 was invested. The Northland weekly quota is £1936. Best results were obtained in Russell (£2431), Whangarei (£1390), Dargaville (£640), Kaikohe . (£540), and Kawakawa (£304).
