Test's On Second Karapiro Unit
(Special.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A further 30,C00 kilowatts will be added to the North Island power supply when tests are completed on the second unit at Karapiro.
Work has commenced on the third unit, which will complete the Karapiro scheme. It is expected that this unit will add 30,000 kilowatts to the power supply of the North Island before the peak demands of next winter are felt.
