_lf there is any method by which we can help Britain, that help will be offered freely. So far as primary products are concernHELP FOR ed, the producers BRITAIN are “all out,” and have been since the war years. But is that the sort of help Britain needs, or the only form of help we can offer? It is true an extra pound of butter, cheese or meat would be acceptable. In my opinion, the help Britain needs is £10,000,000 worth of coal from a new source and £20,000,000 worth of iron and sheet metals most suitable to keep her factories going, so that she may become the exporting country she was previously^—E. WOOLHOUSE. N.Z. CREDIT.—The French National Assembly ratified the £5,000,000 agreement granting credits for the French purchase of wool and other products from New Zealand.
