Distribution Of Sought-After Goods

(Special) WELLINGTON, This Day. Dr A. M. Finlay (G —North Shore) gave notice in the House of Representatives yesterday of his intention to ask the Minister of Supply (Mr Nord--meyer) to describe the way bacon, sweets, tobacco and other such commodities were allocated to various centres.

He referred to complaints that Auckland was not receiving its fair share of certain commodities in short supply, and it had been stated that the quotas of these articles were determined on the 1938 population figures.
