All Block Tour Too Strenuous?
BRISBANE, This Day. The All Blacks itinerary compelling them to play against Queensland in Toowoomba today and against New South Wales in Sydney on Saturday is too much to ask of a touring team, says E. W. Kann, in the Sydney Sun. On both these days they will have to field some of the players in Monday's match against Queensland. This will mean that a number will play three games in five days and probably four games in eight days. F. R. Allen developed leg poisoning after Monday’s game. Abrasions on his hips and knees turned septic and ho went into hospital as soon as he reached Toowoomba today.
