WHANGAROA COUNTY COUNCIL HEAVY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS PUBLIC Notice is given that the -*• County Roads and Main Highways in the County of Whangaroa are classified as Class IV, and that during the winter months of May, June, July, August and September, 1947, the axle loads of all Heavy Motor Vehicles using the said roads will be strictly enforced in the terms of Regulation 4 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1940 and with a maximum speed of 25 m.p.h. and with 5 m.p.h. tolerance. Moreover, should operators fail to cooperate with Council in avoiding wherever possible heavy traffic during exceptionally wet weather, Council will be compelled to impose further restrictions. The proposed security for the repayment of the loan is a special rate of 2.4cT in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough. It is proposed that the loan together with interest thereon at a rate not exceeding three pounds five shillings (£3per centum per annum shall be repaid by equal aggregate haltyearly instalments extending over a term of twenty years.
